About Autism Pyramid Group
The Autism Pyramid Group is a Community/Youth Group offering support for families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder.
We accept members from any part of Staffordshire and also into the borders with Derbyshire. We are a Voluntary Run Committee, most of us are parents or care for children on the spectrum ourselves.
We have been in operation since October 2014 and currently offer two Stay and Play sessions per month: one in Uttoxeter and one in Ashbourne. We would love to hold these events more frequently but we need volunteers to help us achieve this.
We also like to provide events and activities during the school holidays as this is often a difficult time for our children who like structure and routine. To help us to achieve this we have regular fundraising events to raise money and we are lucky enough to have had lots of support locally over the last 3 years.
If you are interested in volunteering to work with children and young people on the Autistic Spectrum we would love to hear from you. All volunteers would need to be DBS checked and we would require references.
